Senior Project Manager - Life and Work Places Market

Our life and work places team delivers tailored solutions for both workplaces and community-focused developments, creating value for our clients and the people who experience these places.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, with 15+ years of relevant experience, leading design teams for life and work places projects. Our project covers a variety of work such as mixed-use, office, multi-family residential to name a few.

Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership and direction for the execution of the entire project and/or program.
* This position will primarily focus on large, high-rise construction for commercial and mixed-use projects.
* The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management including client management, project scope development, design documentation, production coordination, planning, organizing, project quality control, and delivery through close-out.
* Manage work on all phases of various architectural/interior design projects including assisting the Project Executive (PX) with the project pursuit, preparation of presentations and proposals, project budgets, and schedule.
* Manages the design team through schematics, design development, and construction documents. As well as external consultants. On occasion, interface with the client's construction manager.
* Competent in project risk, contract, and financial management. Manage internal and external resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
* They will maintain project document files, including meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and ultimately the project schedule.
* The successful candidate will understand and place emphasis on the importance of project planning and budget finances.
* Maintaining communication with the project team, the PX, and operations management are essential.
* Create and sustain client relationships, as well as foster new relationships to continue to grow our corporate/mixed-use design practice.
* Mentor junior design staff to provide design and career guidance.

Minimum Qualifications

* Licensable degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
* Minimum 15 years of job-related vertical design experience required. Corporate or Commercial design experience is strongly preferred; Experience with a large contractor is also a plus.
* A minimum of 8 years of project management experience is required; PMP is a plus.
* Demonstrated experience using MS Suite and MS Project (or other scheduling software); Deltek Vision or other project planning software a plus.
* Familiarity with Navisworks for reviewing REVIT models.
* Ability to interact professionally and comfortably with a variety of project stakeholders such as clients, AHJ's, contractors, design team, etc…
* Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with project stakeholders.
* The candidate must be willing and able to travel for project assignments.
