A global medical device company in Irvine, CA is looking to identify a Sr. HR Representative.

Job Duties:
  • Perform complex HR administrative duties: including Peoplesoft data entry, preparing new hire and orientation materials, assisting with performance reviews, and maintaining employee records, coordinating travel logistics, planning meetings, pulling files from the main file room
  • May conduct new hire interviews for entry level positions and/or exit interviews for all levels
  • Reconcile TDR decks and review for inconsistencies, analyze TDR data, identify development themes, create content, and finalize for TDR for presentation
  • Create ad hoc/custom Peoplesoft reports and perform analyze and identify findings for Manager review
  • Collect data and update dashboard metrics
  • Create organizational charts and coordinate all data changes in all systems for impacted employees
  • Coordinate all portions of the recruitment life cycle including creating requisitions, applicant flow tracking, generating offer letters and performing background checks
  • Participate in special projects (e.g. RIF, acquisition and divestitures, litigation support)
  • Facilitate new hire orientation
  • Respond to inquiries and escalate non-routine issues to appropriate team members
  • Provide coaching and job training to employees

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in in Business Administration or related field with 6+ years experience of related experience
  • Experience with Workday strongly preferred
  • Fast-paced environment. Manufacturing experience a strong plus
  • Good computer skills including usage of MS Office Suite and HR systems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and requirements as it relates to Human Resources administration
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to influence and achieve objectives
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and HR systems (e.g Peoplesoft, Taleo, Kronos)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fact paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
