Coordinates with the System Director - Laboratory Services and Information Services to add laboratory tests and charges to the laboratory chargemaster and Epic Works with Information Services and Laboratory Leadership to ensure accurate mapping of the Epic interface to the LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics systems to include mapping of test orders and test results Reviews reference laboratory updates to determine when changes are required in the laboratory computer and or Epic Assists Laboratory Computer Specialist with the maintenance and on-going development of the Laboratory computer systems and functions as computer support for laboratory staff when Laboratory Computer Specialist is not available Assists with maintaining Laboratory websites to ensure information provided is accurate and complete Identifies problems and opportunities for performance improvement waste elimination and cost containment

Educational Requirements Degree Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required Preferred and or Bachelor s Required and Additional Requirements Three or four years formal education or training beyond high school or B S or B A degree required Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required Preferred and or 3 Years Medical Technology Required State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required Preferred and or Medical Technologist License Required Certifications Registration Requirements Certificates Registrations Required Preferred and or 160;
