Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative in Chesapeake, VA (On-Site)!! This will be a '6 Month Contract to Hire' position supporting one of our Major Government Clients.  The Client is looking for 'Call Center' experience in particular!  Please see below for details.

Work Shift: 1:30pm – 11pm 

**Must be open to working on either a Saturday or Sunday (1 Day Only), once a Month for about 4 hours (see below)**

  • Saturday – 10:45am – 3:00pm 
  • Sunday – 11:45 am – 4:00pm

Contract: 6 months Contract to Permanent Hire
Location: Chesapeake, VA (On-Site)
Clearance Requirement: Must be Eligible for a 'Public Trust Security Clearance' 
Pay Rate On Contract: $11.96/per hour
Pay Rate at Permanent: $13.46/per hour + $4.27/per hour towards an Insurance Package or invested into a 401K Account (Equivalent to about $9,000)
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Call Center responds to and resolves Recruiting and Hiring inquiries transferred from the Tier 1 Customer Service Center (Phone/E-mail), as well as direct inquiries from candidates and employees in a timely manner and provides general information/assistance. The Contact Center resolves general inquiries from applicants regarding their application status, test scheduling information, and other related inquiries. 

  • 0-2  years of prior Call Center experience
  •  Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Excellent customer service skills
