The Company is looking for an experienced leader in People Operations leader to join our team and help define and manage our People Operations practices. The Head of People Ops will work with senior leadership and be based in San Francisco. S/he will be responsible for designing how the People Operations will work at The Company.
S/he will work closely with our leadership team to best understand the company’s needs and to encourage and maintain The Company’s company culture. As the Head of People Ops, you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence and build our practices.
Lead all people-related initiatives, including performance management, compliance, recruiting, diversity & inclusion, retention, learning and development, and employee relations
Enhance and foster The Company’s culture by developing programs and initiatives that keep our employees closely knit
Serve as a trusted resource to all employees, and guide them through career development and interpersonal conversations
Help to manage total rewards benefits plans and identify new benefits offerings as the team continues to grow
Manage yearly open enrollment process, payroll, and benefits administration; evaluate new vendors and partners as necessary
Understand and evaluate the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends to better inform compensation and benefits offerings
Help build annual headcount plans
5 or more years previous experience running the People/Human Resources function within a high-growth, progressive organization
Utilize people-related data to aid in strategic decision making; develop key metrics to measure employee engagement, performance and retention
In depth understanding of People/HR best practices
Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues, including federal, state, and municipal employment laws
Experience crafting and managing compensation practices
High level of integrity and ability to use good judgement
Strong people management and coaching skills
Excellent communication skills
Nice to haves
Previous experience working at a startup where you had to define and grow an HR organization
Experience with subscription products at a SaaS company
