Job Description

Johnson & Johnson, Family of Companies, is recruiting for a CSS Production Planning Business Process Lead. This position is to be located in Irvine, CA with consideration given to Somerville, NJ / Juarez, Mexico / Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and Diegem / Brussels, Belgium.

The CSS Group consists of six diverse businesses including Acclarent, Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), Biosense Webster (BWI), Codman Neurovascular (Cerenovus), Mentor, and Sterilmed. The CSS Group serves a diverse base of customers in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology (EP), Neurovascular, Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics, and Reprocessing.

Production Planning Business Process Lead Responsibilities:

  • Drive processes and tools harmonization within the business ensuring best practices are established and standardized throughout the Ethicon/CSS business communities

  • Project management to drive prioritized



    initiatives through implementation

  • Translate global process benchmarks, market trends, strategy and roadmap definitions into actionable initiatives to drive PLAN maturity development within the global franchise.

  • Shape and implement Plan maturity strategy and roadmap for Production Planning processes & systems in the Ethicon franchise, ensuring alignment within the strategic portfolio

  • Define and implement harmonized and standardized processes across the Ethicon businesses to drive business and departmental results. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Detailed Scheduling and Rough Cut Capacity



    Planning capabilities

  • Planning System utilization

  • Master Data cleanliness and governance



    strategies

  • Govern operational stability of legacy processes and tools to ensure appropriate business process execution

  • Translate actionable roadmaps into executed



    initiatives

  • Partner with the franchise PP&L teams to drive alignment with the strategic direction as well as maintaining detailed business expertise on the local processes

  • Collaboration with CGT's to drive implementation



    of Production Planning process initiatives

  • Partner with global Supply Chain teams to identify, rationalize, and prioritize



Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, a preference in Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent/Advanced degree/MBA is preferred

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant



    experience required

  • Global experience is preferred

  • Project management experience, including scoping, planning, execution and resource management, is required;

  • FPX, PMP, and/or equivalent certifications



    preferred

  • Experience with Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools, training and/or certification is required

  • Excellent grasp of (production) planning processes and functions, with a strong understanding of end-to-end planning



    processes required

  • Knowledge of Ethicon/CSS Supply Chain processes



    and systems preferred

  • Experience with Planning Systems (e.g. SAP APO, JDA/Manugistics, Demantra/PDP OMP, Synchrono) and/or ERP (JDE, SAP ECC) is



    preferred

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Project and Access is required

  • People Management experience is preferred

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CFPIM or CIRM) is



    highly preferred

  • Ability to lead and influence is required

  • Experience successfully implementing change across multiple organizations with cross functional stakeholders is preferred

  • Familiar with best practices, benchmarks and latest trends regarding business plan processes preferred

  • Ability to develop, master and maintain complex technology skills, with demonstrated experience as a subject matter expert is



    required

  • This position will require up to 30% travel both



    domestic and international
