Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Looking for a Senior Coordinator to supervise all aspects of the University Purchasing Card Program with an

annual spend of approximately $60,000,000. Manage monthly State, USM and UMD audits of purchasing &

travel card transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education ( including licenses, certification, etc. ):

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Five years experience in purchasing card management, including credit card systems, policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of bank transaction workflow and databases.
  • Ability to produce professional presentations and deliver information to diverse audiences including campus customers, management and upper level campus administrators.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, think proactively and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including meeting facilitation and decision making.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office applications and Google forms
  • Dependable and able to manage confidential data with discretion and tact.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure, to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and to deal with changing priorities.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of purchasing card bank reporting, purchasing card reallocations.
