Retirement Planning Administrator
North Shore Bank is a locally-owned and managed, independent, community bank that has been operating in the Duluth area for over 100 years! The Retirement Planning Administrator provides clients guidance in choosing solutions to meet their financial goals. This position specializes in Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), Employee Sponsored Retirement Accounts, and Agency Investment Accounts. Individuals with Accounting, Insurance, 401(k) Administration, Estate Planning, Investment Advising, Portfolio Management or Finance experience are encouraged to apply. This position is located onsite in Duluth, MN. North Shore Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively analyze, examine and communicate financial guidance, solutions and recommendations to new and existing clients, on how to best utilize their financial resources to support their overall retirement plan.
- Help clients implement their financial plan and carry out associated transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Plan and participate in educational workshops and prospect meetings.
- Utilize knowledge and expertise to support North Shore’s processes, procedures and policies for ongoing efficiency and accuracy.
- Based on client requests, serve as a liaison to other departments within the Bank.
- Various projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of similar financial industry experience.
- Experience as a Financial/Investment Advisor, Broker or Financial Planner, CFA or CFP designation is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of retirement products and solutions including investment management accounts and economic trends.
- Excellent consultative skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients.
- Strong time management, prioritization and self-starter skills.
- Supports collaborative team environment.
