OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Is responsible for washing the pots and pans used throughout the department. Removes all trash from the department and disposes in assigned areas. Drives company vehicle to transport meals to GECC and/or Glancy.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Washes and sanitizes all pots and pans used in the department

  • Demonstrates knowledge of food and work place safety.

  • Ensures chemicals used in the 3 compartment sink and the automatic dish machine are used properly and maintain the appropriate concentration.

  • Document temperature and sanitizer concentrations as assigned, notifying supervisor if anything is out of range.

  • Communicates with GECC and/or Glancy regarding food deliveries.

  • Securely straps down food during transport in the company issued vehicle.

  • Verifies with receiving associate that the appropriate food is present and on time.

  • Collects and disposes of department trash to assigned dumpster throughout the shift to ensure cleanliness in the department.

  • ractices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury?accident to Manager.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  1. Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.

  2. Must be able to pass MVR.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  1. Six (6) months of Food Service or customer service experience
