Our client is seeking to hire an Accounting/Office manager to add to their team. They are a very collaborative team and they have more than doubled their business within the last year. Responsibilities of Accounting/Office Manager:
Establishes and maintains internal controls along with policies and procedures for accounting transactions.
Prepares business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Handles all the bookkeeping
Identifies and calculates variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
Manages and oversees all finance and accounting operations including overseeing the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory and fixed assists.
Performs monthly closings and is responsible for preparing and issuing timely financial reports for internal use.
Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
Provides financial analysis for management to help make strategic business decisions.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections and payroll.
Recruits and hires accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations.
Qualifications of Accounting/Office Manager:
2-3 years of experience in management or supervisory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in accounting and QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
