The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team, which may include coordination of services with rehabilitation staff to maximize the patients independence to return to their prior residence.

  • Education: RN Diploma or Associates Degree, BSN preferred.

  • Qualifications: Valid NJ RN License and AHA accredited BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred (Long Term/Sub-Acute; BLS (Basic Life Support); I-V Certification

  • Skills: Successfully completes initial competency verification for specialty area. Demonstrated people/interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to handle confidential information. Working knowledge of short term rehabilitation therapy methods and techniques.
