Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
Reviews audit and imports a high volume of time data into Kronos and SAP Payroll/Timekeeping systems promptly Processes commission and overtime/variable overtime data to compensate employees Maintains employee records in the Company's Commission tracking system Verifies data and checks information for accuracy Resolves discrepancies in employee timesheets Ensures that all employee time entries comply with Company policy and State/Federal or other regulatory bodies Works with Company leaders and Human Resources staff to process reports, obtain approvals, submit off-cycle payments, and process final pay Runs payroll reports for compliance purposes Inputs and processes mileage calculations for expense reimbursement Monitors and maintains earned time banks Handles special requests Promptly responds to requests and inquiries from employees whether in-person, via email or over the telephone. Payroll Specialist Requirements:
2-3 years of multi-state payroll, data, report processing Experience using data warehouse and/or HCM/payroll/automated timekeeping programs such as Kronos and SAP Knowledge of State, Federal and other regulatory requirements for payroll and wage/hour Demonstrated ability supporting teams of 400-600 employees Intermediate proficiency using MS Excel or other spreadsheet applications Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment Ability to work under minimal supervision and to complete projects and assignments independently Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information Ability to perform the following: Process simple mathematical problems manually or using a calculator Read and communicate in English Sit for long periods Work with and in front of a computer and monitor for long periods Use a keyboard and/or input large amounts of information into a computer-based system Solve problems independently Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information Must be able to focus and maintain strong attention to detail Work a flexible work schedule as dictated by business needs This Payroll Specialist position will require you to work a 4/10 schedule Sunday-Wednesday.
