Job Description

Description:

Providing routine support to a department, business unit or regional office. May provide support to multiple team members at the direction of his or her manager.

Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:

  • This candidate will be supporting the Payroll Operations & Taxes org
  • They'll report directly to the hiring manager
  • They'll be working to provide administrative support to a team of 9

Typical Day in the Role:

  • Assists with routine projects that support department or functional initiatives.
  • Organizes and maintains filing systems both electronic and physical.
  • Sorts and distributes mail.
  • Orders and replenishes department/team supplies.
  • May serve as a point of contact for departmental inquiries and respond or escalate as appropriate.
  • May provide some support for administrative tasks such as budgeting, expense reporting and generating reports.
  • May prepare charts, tables, graphs and other presentation material to support functional work.
  • Assists with large mailings or distribution of materials.
  • Provides support for meetings, trainings, seminars, activities and business travel for departmental partners.
  • May provide calendar support to multiple leaders and/or a team.
  • May assist with on boarding of new partners.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Summary of Experience:
    • 1 year project related support or equivalent 1 year customer service

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in crossfunctional projects and activities.
    • Ability to take direction and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to build relationships.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
    • Ability to recognize confidential and/or sensitive information and treat appropriately.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in crossfunctional projects and activities.
    • Someone that can multitask well, ask questions when they need help and focus on the task at hand.

Top 3 must-have hard skills:

Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in crossfunctional projects and activities.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
