Soliel, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to support a federal customer.

LOCATION: Woodlawn, MD

SUMMARY:

Soliel is seeking to hire an Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. This role involves leading teams, managing resources, and improving operational processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in operations management, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency with tools like Splunk, Datadog, and ServiceNow. A Bachelor's degree and ITIL Foundations certification are required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Able to identify potential issues and points of friction quickly and develop approaches to address or mitigate. Possess ITIL Foundations certification.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving operational processes, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Team Management: Lead and manage operational teams, ensuring clear communication, effective delegation, and team development.
* Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively to meet operational goals, including staff, equipment, and budgets. Able to adapt to changing priorities effectively.
* Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure that all operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency.
* Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues, making quick and informed decisions to maintain workflow.
* ServiceNow Integration: Utilize ServiceNow for managing operational workflows, incident management, and ensuring that all tasks are tracked, documented, and resolved efficiently.

Required Skills:

* Operations Management: Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in managing and improving operational processes within an organization, particularly in complex, multi-faceted environments.
* Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a focus on managing teams, improving performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Process Optimization: Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that lead to operational excellence.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various departments, leading meetings, and presenting operational updates to stakeholders.
* Compliance and Standards: Deep understanding of compliance requirements and quality control standards relevant to the industry.
* ServiceNow Expertise: Proficiency in using ServiceNow for incident management, workflow automation, and operational tracking to enhance efficiency and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

* Change Management[ad2] : Experience in leading operational changes, ensuring smooth transitions, and minimizing disruption to daily activities.
* Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects related to operations, including the ability to plan, execute, and close projects effectively.
* Strategic Operations Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for operations that align with the broader goals of the organization.
* Performance Metrics: Experience in setting up and monitoring performance metrics to ensure operational objectives are being met and identifying areas for improvement.
* Financial Acumen: Strong background in managing operational budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial efficiency within operations.
* Familiarity with Monitoring Tools: Experience with operational monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Datadog to ensure systems are performing optimally and to address any potential issues proactively.
