Staffmark is hiring for a fast-paced mail processing facility in UPSMI San Leandro

In this fast-paced production environment, as a Mail Inductor you will be responsible for separating mail by mail class and mail numbers/codes, placing mail into inducting plates for mail sorter to finalize sort. Ensure that each piece of mail is accurately bagged, tagged, palletized and staged for destination.
This position is responsible for the detailed inspection of mail pieces that arrive from UPS customers. A high degree of knowledge is required to separate mail by USPS mail classification type, as well as maintain separation of mail by customer account/cost centers prior to placing on inductor sorter plates. Inductors will be up on a platform placing mail on sorter plates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and lower during entire work shift
- Great team-oriented attitude Dependable and flexible
- Work Days are Monday to Saturday, Sunday off
- Start time varies from 7:00 AM OR 9:00 AM
- Working hrs are 6+ hours, depending on Mail Volume.
