Sparks Group has partnered with a local media organization seeking a Human Resource Assistant. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, be very detail orientated and be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Human Resource Assistant will be responsible for general HR functions to include employee relations, recruiting, and other administrative duties as related to the HR function.
The successful candidate for this position will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following:
•Process HR related paperwork including offer letters, exit paperwork, reporting, etc.
•Set up and maintain employee personnel, benefit and department confidential files including weekly filing
•Ensure that HR related tracking systems are updated weekly
•May include recruiting and hiring new employees and administering onboarding paperwork
•Assist in the preparation of documents, correspondence and mailings
•Perform other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have:
•1+ years of Human Resources experience preferred or 1-3 years of professional administrative experience
•Ability to adapt to frequent change and manage competing demands
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications along with strong administrative skills
•Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
•Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
•Attention to detail is critical to this position
•Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus
