Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Coordinator as the assistant to the OR Clinical Expert (and the Department Director). He/she is responsible for supporting the quality and growth, and the clinical and operational needs as it relates to the identified service line program. Identifying opportunities, implementing and complying with all departmental and hospital standards. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for clinical and administrative decisions related to the service line in the absence of the Expert or Nursing Director. He/she assists in supervising all care team members within the service line, and serves as a role model to staff.



QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an N.L.N. Accredited Nursing Program; BSN preferred; or Surgical Technologist

Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred

Experience: Must meet all RN or Surgical Tech requirements. Must demonstrate leadership skills.

Per PPM bylaws, must obtain Clinician IV status if RN.
