Mortgage Closer Primary Responsibilities:

• Mortgage Closers are responsible for preparing all loan-closing documents, and ensuring that they are accurate in order to have a fully compliant mortgage loan
• Communicate with title companies to gather all necessary information for accurate document preparation and coordinate delivery of the documents
• Review all closing details to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and make sure that all terms of the loan are met
• Understanding fee tolerances, how to handle tolerance violations
• Ensure all date entries are completed to ensure accurate reporting
• Review executed closing documents prior to authorization of funding
• Calculate closing figures and coordinate loan funding with accounting department

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in closing conventional and government residential mortgages
• Working knowledge of regulations of TRID
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Encompass loan processing software or similar program
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain a high level of accuracy, and at the same time meet absolute deadlines
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to convey highly detailed information.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Knowledge of all federal and state managed consumer mandated disclosure requirements.
• Mortgage Closing: 2 years (Preferred)
