Desktop Support Analyst

Robert Half is looking for a talented Desktop Support Technician who is able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is short-term contract / contract / contract / temporary in nature and is located in the Horsham, Pennsylvania, area.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Command of Computer Repair
- Cable Installation experience
- Proficiency in Desktop Support
