We are hiring an experienced and strategic product owner to join our Shared Services Team. Resilience Central is a cross-district team responsible for developing and driving implementation of System-level resilience, continuity and crisis management strategies and overseeing the Federal Reserve System business continuity technology program. Resilience Central engages with business partners in FRS Districts, national lines of business, and subcommittees, and supports the System Crisis Management Team.

This position qualifies for a hybrid working arrangement that supports remote work.

Organizational Expectations:

As a product owner you are accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS technology solution for Business Continuity. In this position you will partner with other internal teams and support users across the 12 Federal Reserve Banks and national lines of business. As a Resilience Central Product Owner, you will maximize business results through the effective management, support, and continuous enhancement of a Business Continuity Technology software system and drive the product vision to reality. This role reports to the AVP, Shared Services for Resilience Central.

General Responsibilities:

* Work with the Business Continuity Community to create implementation mapping for data point into the tool.

* Manage and deliver on all aspects of administration and configuration, vendor release management, change management, access management, system maintenance, and end user support.

* Maintain administrative procedures, and other related documentation.

* Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with users and develop in-depth understanding of their business process; identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes for end users.

* Lead all stages of configuration and system integrations, including researching functionality, planning with stakeholders, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, communications, and go-live.

* Design, test, and implement configurations, including general settings, security settings, roles and permissions, assessment templates, risk rules, and workflows.

* Partner across the team to maintain user guides, training, risk calculation documents, templates, or other resources to effectively support end users.

* Ensure quality product delivery by developing and maintaining expertise of functionality, including participation in the community. Share relevant updates with stakeholders; facilitate testing and decision-making for implementation of new functionality.

* Define, implement, and analyze product metrics to proactively optimize user experience and product performance.

* Manage relationship with vendor contacts and build a strong partnership with the support team; ensure product enhancement requests and questions are prioritized and timely addressed.

* Manage issues and bug fixes and partner with applicable IT teams to timely address issues. Conduct analysis to ensure root cause issues are addressed.

* Proactively investigate problems and provide workable recommendations and solutions.

* Promote an environment that encourages employee engagement and fosters an inclusive workplace.

Education and Experience:

Product Owner Senior

* Two years of college and 7 years of professional work experience or

* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of professional work experience

Product Owner Specialist

* Two years of college and 9 years of professional work experience or

* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of professional work experience

Knowledge and Skills:

* Experience in the Database environment creating, building hierarchy, developing templates, user access, security, import/export capabilities.

* Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and writing skills.

* Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment as well as external vendors and service providers.

* Team player that can easily adapt and respond quickly to changing strategies and priorities.

* Strong attention to detail and passion for quality.

* Prior experience as a liaison and a resource, coordinating business application enhancements and/or software updates.

* Serve as a primary contact for resolving user support issues to ensure efficient operations.

* Experience developing and revising procedures, defining processes, and leading and providing training to users.

* Understanding of, and experience with Agile methodologies.

Physical Demands and General Working Conditions

Traditional office environment: employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls. Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required. Addendum as needed: employees may be required to travel by car/air.
