HIRING BONUS AVAILABLE – UP TO $100 DEPENDING ON POSITION

SmartTalent is hiring for a LARGE Manufacturing company in Arlington. This is a Temp to Hire Administrative Assistant position that offer full time hours. Ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as an Admin Assistant, have high attention to details and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$22 an hour - upon hire Medical, Dental, and Vision, Vacation, Sick, and Holiday pay, Retirement plan with 3% match

Shift

Monday – Friday 8am – 430pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet people as they enter the office to present a positive first impression.

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to multitask.

  • Maintain records and files, process mail and answer multiline phone.

  • Daily filing of company documents.

  • Daily housekeeping: maintaining clean lobby, kitchen, conference room, and copy room.

  • IT support as needed.

  • Update our social media pages on a weekly basis or as needed.

  • Update company website as needed.

  • Maintain updated resellers permits for customers and W9 for vendors.

  • Help the Human Resources, Shipping and Receiving, EHS, and Accounting department with tasks as needed.

  • Occasional trips out of office to pick up supplies.

  • Schedule yearly services; hearing test, fire extinguishers, meter reading.

  • Renew all files each year for A/R, A/P, and as needed.

  • Will support all departments with administrative duties/projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Receives incoming orders and shipments.

  • Assists purchasing with returns.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in administration or related field.

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Present a professional and appropriate image for the company.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, initiative and maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
