Verifications Clerk to join our expert team of business and healthcare minded professionals.
Primary Duties include the following: - Performs all monthly eligibility inquires for insurance benefits in accordance with Healix policies and procedures.
- Reviews accounts for payment history.
- Maintains a record of all verbal and written eligibility activity in accordance with Healix policies and procedures.
- Logs all incoming customer calls and distributes to the designated team.
- Distributes incoming faxes to all team members.
- Notify supervisor of challenges such as, but not limited to, expired insurance policies, expired authorizations and other updates to patient account information, on an ongoing and regular basis.
- Assist in the production of electronic charts.
Qualifications: - Medical experience a plus

- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
