Sailor 2025 is a program focused on three core pillars – Personnel System Modernization; Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL); and Career Readiness. The second pillar, Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL) deals primarily with doing away with the old way of brick and mortar schoolhouses, or industrial age training, and replacing the curriculum with career-long learning continuums where training is delivered by modern methods to enable faster learning, better knowledge retention, and delivery at the right time and in the right way for our Sailors.
This job opportunity’s objective is the creation and delivery of products in support of the Sailor 2025 (S2025) Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion Wave 1 effort. Candidate must have or be able to hold a Secret clearance.
Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Must have demonstrated project/task management experience.
•Supervises at least 15 employees
• Must have training or courseware development background; experience providing oversight to teams developing a broad spectrum of courseware products to include blended learning, instructor led courses, self paced interactive courseware and performance support products
•Experience managing tasks to deadlines from the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to include managing resources, task assignments, risk identification, quality assurance, performance assessments, performance metrics, communication, reporting
•Must work well in high performance deadline driven environment
•May be required to travel up to 25%
•Must have excellent communication and critical thinking skills
5+ years managing training programs or projects
