The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division, is seeking an Experienced Satellite Systems Analyst Engineer (Level 3) to support our dynamic 24/7 team in Springfield or Chantilly, VA. The Space and Launch Team supports the Government and its customers by monitoring production systems and ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions. Our team focuses on the operation of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers

Position Overview:

The Experienced Satellite Systems Analyst Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity operations environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support the Government and its customers by supporting 24x7 operations and coordinate with analysts and engineers from other disciplines. The position will focus on ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions. This position will focus on monitoring production systems for the customer ensuring timely access to data.

Position Responsibilities:

* Monitor operational processing operations systems and data flow for nominal status.

* Analyze technical data, verify and sustain specific system configurations in accordance with defined constraints and operational requirements.

* Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.

* Implement test methodologies for production systems and their associated products.

* Coordinate with analysts and engineers from other subject areas or teams.

* Recommend innovative methods to accomplish processing missions.

* Coordinate with external groups on current and future ground system testing and integration; spacecraft launch, transfer and initialization (LT&I).

* Coordinate with management and peers to ensure the integrity and continuity of high-quality operational products including procedures and tools.

* Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

* Create/maintain documentation and procedures associated with the system.

Work Authorization:

This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph pre-start (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* 2 years or more of experience with customer systems and missions (ground processing and product quality).

* 1 years or more of experience interfacing with U.S Government customers on requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Virginia Summary pay range: Min: $104,550 - Max: $141,450
