TheVillage (now Gemma Services) is a non-profit agency providing both behavioral health and social services to children and adolescents from all over Pennsylvania and is currently seeking full-time and substitute Mental Health Workers for their Residential Treatment Facility. Mental Health Workers (also known as Residential Treatment Counselors) are direct care staff in the residential setting, working with adolescent females who have significant mental and behavioral health needs. Mental Health Workers are responsible for providing close supervision, therapeutic interventions to help the youth meet their treatment goals and actively engage the youth throughout their shift. The position requires timely and accurate documentation of what occurs during the shift and working closely with the entire treatment team to ensure all of the youths' needs are being met.

Full-time shifts available:
Friday 3pm-11pm; Saturday 11am-11pm; Sunday 11am-11pm
Part-time shifts available:
Saturday and Sunday 9am-9pm; 11am-11pm or 11pm - 9am
Available for all shifts, included overnight shifts (11pm-9am) and classroom Assistant coverage in the on-grounds school (7:30am-3:30pm). Must be willing to commit to a minimum of one shift per pay period.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience working with children or adolescents with emotional disturbances or behavioral health needs and is interested in being an active part of their healing process. Bachelor’s degree in a social service field is preferred.
Applicants are required to have a HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of direct child care experience. . Other requirements include a valid driver's license in the state of residence, able to pass all child abuse and criminal clearances and an ability to remain active and alert for 8 – 10 hour shifts.
