Job Description

Join Dewberry's EV team as an Electric Vehicle/Renewables Program Manager!



Dewberry has an immediate full-time opening for an Electric Vehicle/Renewables Program Manager within our Commercial Utilities Group. You will become part of a growing team that practices total project consulting and provides complete, comprehensive services to a wide variety of clients.



As Program Manager you will be responsible for identifying and growing EV/Renewable clients primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, to support regional goals. This role requires technical knowledge and the ability to provide business leadership and client relationship development within EV/Renewables channels.  Proven design and construction experience within target growth channels include fleet EV, solar, battery energy storage systems and related systems for utilities, commercial (EV/solar developers), automotive and charging OEM’s.



As the selected candidate you will be responsible for achieving profitable growth and managing project financials while collaborating with and managing multi-discipline teams. You will serve as Project Manager for complex projects and assignments requiring seasoned management skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth

  • Develop and implement a strategy to increase Dewberry’s brand recognition as a provider to EV/Renewables markets

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to develop and capture new business

  • Serve as a client manager for select EV/Renewables accounts

  • Coordinate EV/Renewables sales pipeline and report status to Commercial Utilities Group leadership

  • Develop responses to requests for proposals and qualifications, including cost proposals

  • Collaborate proactively and productively with other groups and company offices

  • Serve as Project Manager for complex and volume based projects

  • Manage project financials and cash flow

  • Collaborate with and manage multi-discipline teams

  • Assist with training and mentoring staff



Required Skills & Required Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:



  • Ability to show successful results in business and client relationship development

  • A successful track record executing strategies that generate sales

  • Demonstrated project management success for EV/Renewables projects

  • Demonstrated strategic development, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • A successful track record of managing and motivating multi-discipline teams

  • A proven ability to be adaptable

  • A proven ability to deal with stressful situations positively

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • A BS in Engineering, Landscape Architecture or Business with 12+ years of technical project management and 5+ years directly related to EV/Renewables is preferred

  • Ability to show proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (local travel will be required)
