Job Description

Volvo Customer Care Representative 2, Rockleigh, NJ  

 

Summary

Provide support in reviewing cases requesting buy backs, collecting and reviewing necessary paperwork for submissions, collecting and keeping data for improvements. Represents Volvo Car USA to retailers and owners in a professional, caring manner. Maximize opportunities by coordinating efforts to handle/resolve customer contacts utilizing available Region/Retailer personnel and resources to increase customer satisfaction and retention.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collect necessary paperwork for trade assists and buy backs from retailers and ensure accuracy

  • Review submissions from Customer Care for trade assists and buy backs

  • Review systems and internal resources for available vehicles to trade, auction value of vehicles, etc.

  • Keep financial record from trade assists and buy backs per dealer, per market, and per region

  • Keep record of trade assists and buy backs per dealer to track performance

  • Monitor and create service record Customer Care incidents to mitigate customers with high count of services from being escalated

 

Education

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience required.

 

Experience

  • 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Bilingual French is a plus. 

 

Skills

  • Strong understanding of buy back and of vehicle trade in process

  • Analytical and comprehension skills to evaluate

  • Strong personal skills to develop and maintain working relationships with retailers over the phone

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage, follow-up and prioritize numerous issues simultaneously

  • Ability to utilize a PC to analyze data, track trends, and retrieve relevant information

  • Ability to gather and use information logically to reach a clear understanding of situations and problems
