Manager of Technical Accounting
Must have---- 3 to 4 years in Big 4 Public Accounting (Senior) and a minimum 2 years in corporate accounting. Must have CPA license
This position will perform a variety of professional accounting activities including, but not limited to, the following
Reconciliation and review of general ledger accounts.
Preparation and review of journal entries.
Assist with internal and external financial reporting.
Work closely with the Assistant Controller to improve and document processes within the accounting department and across the organization.
Other ad hoc financial analysis and projects, as needed.
Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Experience with a Big 4 Accounting Firm
Excellent writing skills with good attention to detail. Experience writing technical accounting memos are a plus.
Experience with accounting software or large ERP system (Oracle is strongly preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and advance skills in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with external audits (quarterly/annual) and internal control requirements of Sarbanes Oxley.
This individual will have strong initiative and ability to work independently, but also work well in a team environment. Must be able to learn quickly and apply new concepts. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment of a public company.
Reports to the Director of Accounting who reports to the VP or Accounting/ Corporate Controller.
