Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for an AutoCAD Draftsperson position in the Kane, PA area. This is a day shift opportunity with a salary ranging from $50-$55k.

Shift:
8am - 5p (Monday - Friday)

Pay Rate:
Salary ranging from $50-$55k

***Candidate must pass a drug screen and be open to criminal background check***

We are currently seeking an experienced Drafter to assist with the design of custom products.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for creating detailed designs using AutoCAD.
  • Responsible for programming CNC machines.
  • Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to determine best method to fabricate parts.
  • Troubleshoot errors and retest the program to make sure that the issue has been resolved.
  • Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve fabrication, functionality, and cost.
  • Ensure final designs comply with proper codes, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects under supervision to drive process and productivity output gains.

Requirements:


  • Previous manufacturing experience in sheet metal programming required.
  • Experience with programming Amada Turret Punch Press


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and AutoCAD.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret complex and detailed architectural/structural drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lead or direct the work of others on both large- and small-scale projects.
  • Must be professional and possess strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Associate degree in Mechanical Drafting & Design, or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
