Transaction Real Estate Attorney
Job Title: Transactional Real Estate Attorney
Job Location: Los Angeles
Requirements: 2 years or more real estate attorney experience
Duties & Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Commercial Real Estate (Construction knowledge is a plus). Must be barred in California.
- Draft, negotiate, review construction and design contracts.
- Draft leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, deeds, titles & escrow related matters.
- Coordinate and direct the review, management, and preparation of commercial leasing and acquisition documentation.
- Review Purchase and Sale Agreements, due diligence, monitor contingencies, review and prepare title objections, survey and environmental reviews, closing documents and wire transfers.
- Draft, negotiate, and review all aspects of real estate finance.
- Proficient in advising mechanic’s lien issues.
- Proficient in advising 1031 exchanges.
- Negotiate leases and amendments.
- Draft and review complex operating agreements and bylaws, shareholders agreements, master service and service level agreements, private placement memorandums, indemnity agreements, and other client contracts.
- Draft correspondence on behalf of landlords to commercial tenants management and counsel relating to claims, defenses, and other disputes arising under lease agreements.
- Effectively organize and maintain case and client files.
