$75,000 - $85,000/Year

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a TEMP TO PERM opportunity in Rockville, Maryland. This is a full time position and will pay $34-40 per hour dependent on experience. The candidate selected will need to meet background check and drug screen criteria and must be fully vaccinated.

Candidates will use excellent mathematical and data entry skills to process pay and assist with all benefits.

Duties include but will not be limited to:
 
  • Checking timesheets for accuracy
  • Entering data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Handling direct deposit requests and data
  • Processing paper checks for distribution
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll for company employees.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of Payroll business processes;
  • Monitoring Employee Life Cycle of Federal Payroll and Compensation process;
  • Benefit compensation to include: Retirement reconciliation, Sick/Annual/Admin Leave distribution and Dental, Health)
  • Providing client communications and interactions related to Payroll and Benefits
  • Human Resources general duties, as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Must know ADP WorkforceNow
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of complex payroll and leave administration
  • Knowledge of complex  time and attendance
  • Experience with Federal and HR systems such as Deltek,
  • Experience performing payroll audits and research to resolve complex pay issues
  • Knowledge of error resolution process for payroll or benefits
