Maxim Government Services (MGS) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide Child and Youth Services who will be responsible for all health support services in Child Youth Services programs at Fort Leonard, MO. This includes all duties required for diabetic care of children enrolled in the CYS program. The contractor staff shall apply professional knowledge and skill to support the health and well-being of children and youth IAW established policies and guidance.
Position Details:
Task 1. Provide direct or consultative nursing services in accordance with each child/youth’s medical action plan and corresponding medical information provided by the child’s health care provider to include (1) facilitating for CYS Services personnel, peers, and parents an understanding of the unique accommodations; (2) acquiring information regarding local, state, and national resources; (3) coordinating programs and services for the child/youth who needs nursing services.
Task 2. Perform observations, accommodations, and diabetes management tasks per guidance of the COR.
Task 3. Perform case management duties to include tracking of timelines and review dates, at the direction of the COR.
Task 4. Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of progress at all times for the child/youth, and work with the COR, CYS Services management staff and the Army Public Health Nurse to ensure that information is properly documented in the Child & Youth Management System (CYMS) and program files.
Hours: M-F 730a-5p
Experience/Qualifications Needed:
Qualifications:
• Current/Active RN license
• At least 1 year experience with pediatric/diabetic patients; acute or homecare
• Current BLS certification
