This position will support the Licensing Manager and oversee the approval process from concept to finished product for new consumer products

Client Details

A leading manufacturer of bedding, bath, and beach products, seeking a Licensing Assistant to work within our Licensing Department.


  • Manage product approvals and communication between Jay Franco and licensors
  • Ensuring product submission feedback is efficiently communicated to the appropriate team within Jay Franco and all outgoing product submissions are accurately imputed into the appropriate product approval website
  • Working with the product development, packaging, and design teams to ensure submissions with tight shipping deadlines are prioritized and communicate these deadlines with licensors
  • Keeping track of when products enter the warehouse and ensuring all contractual samples are ordered and closed out in the system
  • Working closely with the Director of Licensing to assist on any licensor requests or team projects
  • Assisting with social media photography and posts
  • Assisting with contract proposals


  • Someone with relationship management skills who is flexible and open to new ways of doing business
  • An individual with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Basic photography skills
  • Photoshop experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and self-start
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to juggle multiple tasks at once and work towards multiple deadlines
  • Highly organized, detail oriented
  • Ability to create long-lasting and mutually beneficial professional and client relationships
  • Strong planning and project management abilities
