Human Resources Director
A client of ours is looking to bring on a Human Resource Director to lead and direct the functions of the Human Resources Department including developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to support a growing team and managing the recruitment and selection process to hire top tier talent. The ideal candidate will have experience as a human resources leader, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, recruitment, and an ability to drive strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with leadership to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization to support current and future business needs, including overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that supports high performance.
- Oversee monthly/semi-monthly payroll and annual benefit enrollment; ensure accurate processing of payroll updates and compliance with federal, state and local payroll best practices; oversee annual open and new employee benefit enrollment
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
What You’ll Need:
- 3 – 5 years proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Leader
- Knowledge of human resources systems, strategies, metrics, and best practices
Note that this is a HYBRID position with 3-days a week in-office in Rochelle Park, NJ.
