In this specialized role, you will support day-to-day operations in a unique and critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have system administration experience with Microsoft servers, high volume storage solutions, and Cisco routers and switches. What You'll Be Doing: * Participate in the design & implementation of new systems infrastructure
* Install and configure hardware and software components
* Monitor system health and performance to meet program requirements and minimize down time
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
* Provide technical insights to other team members
* Participate in project planning & execution, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
* Perform system upgrades and patches
* Interface frequently with users on a daily basis and respond to emergent needs
* Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
* Manage user accounts and access controls
* Develop and maintain standard operational procedures and system documentation
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, & best practices. What Required Skills You'll Bring: * A TS/SCI w/ poly is required
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, and Server 2019.
* Experience performing systems administration functions with PowerShell.
* Ability to work both independently and with others while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work frequently with users in a friendly and professional way.
* Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and CIFS.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Worked performed will be 100% on-site in a secure environment.
* Must be mission oriented.
* Position will require on-call rotation for after hours/weekend support. What Desired ( but not required ) Certifications You'll Bring: * Knowledge of storage solutions such as SAN/NAS technologies
* CompTIA Network+
