The Data Measurement Analyst will play a critical role in creating equity programs in the City of Orlando. The Data Analyst should have a strong background with Data tools for collecting and reporting, and an equally strong ability to evaluate large data sets.

Responsibilities:
Guiding the city to define success for the program’s scale up
Ensuring the right community leaders and organizations are informed, involved and engaged to build public support and use of the program
Defining a roadmap for how to achieve the desired success outcome
Supporting measurement, monitoring, and reporting of progress towards this outcome
Leading coordination across government to solve problems, unblock challenges, and ensure continued progress towards the outcome
Building capacity for delivery across the government, including in such areas as use of data and evidence, planning, performance management, and communications
Developing communications materials and liaising with executive leadership in the Office of Mayor, including, but not limited to the Mayor, the Chief of Staff, and various collaborating agency leads
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Economics, Business, STEM, Public Policy, etc.
Minimum of three years of work experience in a role involving primary responsibilities in data or research, with experience with quantitative and qualitative or mixed methods analysis; additional experience preferred
Experience using a tool such as Excel, Tableau, STATA, or similar software for statistical analysis and data visualization
Individuals with prior experience working on or with community justice, crisis response, behavioral health or equity issues, and candidates with lived experience related to these issues or the Orlando community preferred
Prior experience working with or in local government a plus
Must be based in and have work authorization in the United States
Must be willing to undergo background checks by City of Orlando and Orlando Police Department, drug screening and polygraph test
Must be willing to be based in Orlando, Florida, or within commutable neighborhoods, for the term of employment which will be based in the City of Orlando
