Enterprise Risk Analyst (On-Site in Suffolk, Virginia)

Essential Duties:

  • Engage with ERM oversight groups (compliance, cyber, legal and operational risk) in fulfilling their risk reporting responsibilities with emphasis placed on risk reporting content and data quality.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to design and operate effective processes for data collection.
  • Provide critical QA review of risk information presented to executive management and the Board for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work on department initiatives to improve and streamline data collection on risk metrics and the production process related to the Aggregate ERM Report.
  • Provide administrative support for a risk reporting and assist with development of a roadmap for identifying and implementing a centralized risk management committee reporting application.
  • Provide analytics on current KRIs, work with ERM oversight groups mitigate gaps in metric reporting.
  • Provide training and leadership in the implementation of Enterprise Risk Reporting in the new Governance, Risk and Compliance Platform (LogicManager)
  • Sets the expectation with the Operational Risk Analyst, Business Risk Officer and Line of Business leadership on the necessary KRIs and the cadence of reporting performance monitoring results.
  • Review and challenge risk and control assessments completed by the business lines.

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Risk Management
  • Works under general supervision
  • Ability to build in presentation format executive level analytics and reporting
