Position Summary:
These are the professionals who help us build our business in the national
accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, group
insurance and specialty products areas. Their goal is to meet customer
needs and help them make better decisions and about their health care
and health care spending.
Duties:
Identify business units ripe for divestiture?Identify Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities?Conduct regular business analysis on existing Client departments. Travel as needed to view job sites (billed back at cost within 60 days of travel).Present business case of sales or purchase for business entities. Work remotely from time-to-time while on travel; otherwise based in Rhode Island (housing in RI reimbursed at cost monthly). day commitment from start date to evaluate success based on business need
Experience:
Sales, account management and business retention for Healthcare products and
services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives. Support sales team with new sales or existing business with activities that
may include, but are not limited to, entry level sales training, enrollment
meetings, health fairs, interregional RFA's, sharing or managing a book or
business, inside sales, sales proposal development, customer reporting and
constituent relations (producers, plan sponsors, customers).
May support and contributes to profitable sales on a shared book of
business or customer base
Assists with underwriting case preparation, as appropriate.
May works with sales support area in support of RFP processing.
Completes entry level sales training and actively participates in ongoing
sales training.
Participates in open enrollment presentation and health fairs as necessary.
May assist in the cultivation and development of producer and consultant
contacts in the assigned territory.
May conduct enrollment meetings for plan sponsors and trains brokers
and/or plan sponsor representatives to conduct these meetings in the
future.
Collaborates with team members, as appropriate, on case installation to
manage the integration of client's and Healthcare's internal organizations,
ensuring a smooth installation.
May handle inside sales and works cross-functionally to complete the sale
and ensure a timely and accurate installation.
Education:
Up to 5 years industry or customer service experience depending on role.
Entry level sales training.
Licensure as required by state.
College degree or equivalent work experience.
