Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Paid Training Program

Details of program:
- Must be available for at least 48 hours bi-weekly, included every other weekend hours (priority giving to candidates interested in FT employment)
- Classes held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3pm - 10:30pm
- Classes are located at Eastern Mennonite University - Lancaster
**Next class dates: May 1st, 2023 - June 12th, 2023
CNA Pay Rate:
- $19.70 - 21.30 per hour plus shift differentials (Evening + $3, Nights + $1, Weekends + $1.25)

Department: Skilled Nursing Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Delivers resident care in accordance with the plan of care with additional direction from the charge nurse or other supervisory personnel.
Assist each resident with activities of daily living. This includes eating, bathing, elimination, ambulation, and positioning according to policy.
Report pertinent information and/or changes in residents' conditions promptly to the charge nurse.
Obtain vital signs, weights, calorie counts, intake, and output accurately.
Present each resident with a clean and neat appearance.

Employment Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have high school diploma.
No previous experience required.
Have a sincere desire to work with older adults and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of others.
Kind, respectful, patient and cheerful when engaging with residents, co-workers, families, and community.
Demonstrate a sincere teamwork approach to resident care.
Support the mission, philosophy and values of Fairmount.
