Our Financial Services practice is looking for an experienced Manager to join the team
Through continued expansion, we are looking for individuals to join and grow our Financial Services Risk and Controls practice in New York, Chicago and Charlotte. This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurial team members who want to contribute to our growth. You will work as part of our core consulting team working closely with our clients on challenging and rewarding engagements. You will also help us to build our US practice by supporting rewarding internal initiatives, generating tangible outcomes.
What you will be doing
- You will be working alongside deep industry experts to create, facilitate and help to execute our client’s strategies.
- You will lead enterprise risk management programs, including establishment of foundational processes, governance principles and operating models.
- You will lead stakeholder engagement for complex projects including program management and milestone delivery needs.
- You will lead the delivery of complex regulatory change programs.
- You will be re-structuring global business operations to be more efficient when considering impacts resulting from various regulatory and strategic initiatives.
- You will be empowering Finance and Risk teams to be self-sufficient in delivering continuous improvement.
- You will have an opportunity to work as part of a team with direct access to senior leadership and subject matter experts.
Your skills and experience
- You will have 6+ years of relevant financial services experience in a consulting or industry role, with experience in risk management and transformation initiatives.
- You will have a strong understanding of risk control frameworks or experience structuring and running risk assessments.
- You will have experience leading process reviews, identifying gaps and implementing corrective changes.
- You will have experience leading internal business development initiatives.
- You will be someone who enjoys relationship management and has experience working on cross functional teams with senior management.
- You will have experience leading change management initiatives and target operating model development and implementation.
- You will be a self-starter with a strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial work environment.
- You will have the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
- You will have demonstrated experience as a problem solver who enjoys learning new things.
- You will have strong oral and written communication skillset, including the ability to support new business proposal development and influence key decision makers.
