USA Job Function Description: Serves as our Santander Private Client Program and Select Lead and will drive strategies and performance within our Private Client / Select program. Identifies and pursues new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects. Works pre-developed lead lists to generate business and identify new customer prospects.
Essential Functions/Responsibilty Statements:
Leads strategies and initiatives in support of our Santander Private Client and Select programs. Provides customer support by servicing the needs of existing and prospective customers, ensuring efficient delivery of superior customer service.
Acts as the liaison between the customer and the Relationship Manager, responding to questions and resolving problems by coordinating with internal partners.
May accompany Relationship Manager to the loan settlement
Completes loan fee workbook as required to ensure that all associated loan fees are collected and processed in a timely manner.
Following loan closing, ensure that loan documentation is submitted according to procedures and is accurately reflected on the bank-wide systems.
Handles escalated requests for research, corrections, loan payments, loan advances, collateral releases, wire transfers and credit inquiries.
Analyzes problems to determine proper course of action, striving for first time final resolution. When necessary, leverage team of specialists' model and internal partners to resolve escalated issues.
Monitors Company reports for discrepancies and take appropriate action based on the nature of the issue.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Economics, Communications or Equivalent field. (Req)
Experience in Banking Operations, Retail or Credit. , 9-12 years (Req)
* Skills and Abilities:
Understands state and local laws necessary to understand the legal implications of certain product features in different states
Understands the consequences of not following the FINRA rules
Excellent verbal and written communications necessary in order to talk to producers/customers about product features and to help in the sales process
Proficiency with computers and common office software
Ability to apply independent judgment
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment
Highly organized and able to work independently
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to use financial models

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
