As a member of the Device Management Team, Product Managers will be focused on Go-To-Market management by orchestrating product launches across the enterprise, along with owning the device lifecycle experience in market. Ability to manage various vendors and devices in the T-Mobile portfolio; strategic categories that include Home & Entertainment, IoT, Affordables, Wearables, and Tablets. Responsibilities include orchestrating cross-functional activities to deliver and maintain exciting new products in market, while working with teams to resolve hardware and software related issues and consistently monitoring performance to achieve optimal results.

Core Responsibilities

* Primary business contact at T-Mobile for vendors bringing quality devices to market that provide over $1B worth of wireless hardware to T-Mobile annually

* Guide / Influence product teams to properly execute device launches, manage performance and influence supply decisions

* Partner internally to utilize our devices as tools to drive higher level growth and profitability (across Voice, Beyond the Smartphone, T-Mobile for Business, National Retail)

* Coordinate cross functional meetings to make key hardware and software decisions.

* Shape the product experience by rationalizing product capabilities early

* Take initiative to ensure products in market are monitored, performing well and quickly resolve issues in market to minimize customer impact

* Maintain both a tactical and strategic view on relationship management

* Manage retail compliance

* Participate in vendor roadmap discussions regarding products and GTM negotiations

* Participate in planning discussions regarding promotional incentives, product / channel readiness and performance through end-of-life processes.

* Developing win-win scenarios with our partners who have a vested interest in T-Mobile's success

* Exhibit behaviors that demonstrate our responsibility to put our Customers and Frontline first

* Maintain and develop product category insights and establish clear product use cases to assist cross-functional teams in consumer messaging development and frontline sales tactics

Qualifications:

* Product management experience and skills

* Experience working with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Care and Retail

* Strong ability to think creatively and problem solve

* Strong relationship builder that can simultaneously inspire partners

* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

* Skilled at influencing and interacting with executive management and cross functional teams

* Well organized with the ability to smoothly handle challenging conversations under stressful timelines

* Strong understanding of product / financial metrics and terminology

* Written and verbal communication skill with diverse groups

* Advanced Microsoft skills (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)

* Professional verbal and written presentation skills

Education

Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or related field

Relocation, including summer housing, may be available for qualified candidates.

Average pay for summer internships is $23/hour
