System Administrator- Mac OS job in San Francisco at Segal

Position Summary:

Candidate will be the IT Operations SubjectMatter Expert in supporting the Mac OS across the enterprise. The role willparticipate in the expansion of the integration of Mac OS, including supportingmanagement and security solutions. Position is an excellent opportunity tobring skills and experience to a team of highly motivated system administratorsthat support the firm’s client, server, and cloud solutions.

The IT System Administrator will be part of a successful team thatprovides Level II support and administration for MAC and Windows desktop,Azure, O365 and other cloud services, Windows server, and enterpriseapplication support. Candidate will work with diverse technologies andparticipate in strategic projects in a collaborative environment. The roleincludes contact with user community and requires great customer serviceskills.

Essential Functions:

• ProvideLevel II support of corporate MAC OS and Windows devices and applications

• Workwith the MAC OS and Windows OS as well as the Jamf and Egnyte products.

• System administrationduties

• Active DirectoryAdministration

• Office 365 and Azure Administration

• Enterprise Applications Administrationand Monitoring

• Monitor system, server and networkalerts; resolve issues

• Monitor and test data replication anddisaster recovery systems

• Manage asset tracking for responsibleoffices

• Ensure rights management and security comply with company policy

• Participatein project initiatives

• Providesecond level desktop support for desktop and laptop setups / QA for new users

• Workclosely with other regional support team to maintain company infrastructure.

• Workclosely with IT Engineering team on cloud, infrastructure, application,security and compliance projects.

• Beon call for After-Hours Emergency Support coverage approximately four weeks ayear

Skills Required:

• Working technicalknowledge of Mac OS Software and Hardware

• Jamf Cloudadministration. Concentrating on support and device policies. Including Okta, LDAPand Active Directory Integration

• Strong experience withCloud solutions including O365, Azure, Egnyte, and Okta

• Proven success inleveraging automation and scripting tools to deliver efficient and secureresults

• Understanding of DEP,Volume Purchasing Programs, Apple Business Manager and integration with Jamfand Nomad/JamfConnect

• Proven analytical andcreative problem-solving abilities

• Strong Best-Practice Security and Compliance standards focus
• Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• 3 years of experience inuser support, especially support of Mac OS in an enterprise environment
