Facility: Boone County Detention Facility

Location: Columbia, MO

Hours: 2 hours every week

JOB DESCRIPTION

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, the industry leader in providing quality medical care, mental health care and business services to correctional facilities, has an excellent opportunity for a Physician at the Boone County Detention Facility located in Columbia, MO.

The qualified candidate will provide primary care services to the detainee population in a correctional medical environment. You'll work as part of a team, along with support and corrections staffs, where communication and cooperation are the keys to success.

You'll see a wide variety of cases, provide medication management, and all in a flexible schedule designed to help you maintain a good work/life balance. There are no practice management hassles or 3rd party billing issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of hire

Board certified or board eligible

Current DEA registration

Current CPR certification

This position requires a background check

Onsite visit two hours every week
