Job Summary/Basic Function

Learns, assists and performs routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, building structure, finishes, electrical, and other building systems. Primary duties will take place in University Housing facilities, but may be asked to assist with other facilities and duties in certain cases. May be asked to help with move ins and move outs that take place in University Housing, this may include setting up, taking down, and moving of furniture. May be asked to assist other FM shops for assistance on specific trade work including: electrical, electronics, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and paint.

**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified

Required Qualifications

Must be able to work outdoors and inside with exposure to sun, dust, dirt, grease, water and compressed air.
