Kelly Financial Resources is hiring immediately for a contract Tax Analyst Consultant with one of our top clients in Eden Prairie, MN.
• Pay rate is flexible depending on experience, ~$65-85/hr
• Position is temporary, ~ 2 months with potential for extension
• Start ASAP!
This temporary contractor position will be about 85% federal income tax compliance and 15% federal/state planning work. The individual in this role must have the ability to work and communicate closely with individuals within the tax department and without, specifically with corporate accounting, legal, human resources, and treasury departments, as well as outside third-party advisors. The ideal candidate will have experience with federal income tax compliance, having well developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or CPA
- 2-4+ years of tax experience in tax provision and tax compliance.
- Understanding of Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740)
- Experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department
