An established acute care health system located in Eastern Pennsylvania is currently searching for multiple experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Registered Nurse to join their accredited healthcare team.

This esteemed healthcare facility opened its doors over 100 years ago and has since provided the surrounding area with the highest quality of healthcare. The Cardiac Surgery RN will work within an acute care facility that proudly performs nearly 20,000 surgical procedures each year. This hospital is also home to a number of nationally recognized specialty care centers including a Level I Trauma Center, Cancer Institute, a Regional Cardiac Center, and a full-serviced Maternity Center.

The Cardiac Surgery RN will work within a state-of-the-art department that strives to offer a variety of high-quality treatment options including minimally invasive options. The Cardiac Surgery RN will be exposed to a variety of procedures including traditional open-heart surgery, minimally invasive heart surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting, endoscopic vein harvesting, valve replacement and repairs, atrial clips, as well as Da Vinci cardiothoracic surgery.

The Cardiac Surgery RN will work under the direction of the unit Nurse Manager and Nursing Director. The Cardiac Surgery RN will work hands-on with patients within the unit to establish individualized patient care plans and ensure both patient and the families understand conditions, medications, and healing skills. The Cardiac Surgery RN will be a successful graduate of an accredited nursing program and will have at the minimum 1-2 yeas of prior nursing experience working within a cardiac surgical setting.
