-The Advanced Threat Warning Systems (ATWS) programs have a critical need for a candidate that will be responsible for the design and development of programmable logic products to support the TacIRST program. -The main opportunity would be support to the TacIRST sensor design and associated programs. -Job role would include FPGA logic design, simulation and lab validation. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing code for high density FPGA video processing applications. -The engineer will have the opportunity to work on and collaborate with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines. -The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers. -The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements. -We offer a continuous learning environment with strong career growth and advancement opportunities. Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position. The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area. This region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
• Experience with FPGA architecture, design, and development (Verilog, System-Verilog), associated tools (Vivado, Libero, etc.), and IP Cores
• High Density FPGA video processing applications experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Desired Skills:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 4 years of professional experience required with a related PhD. •Previous Zynq Ultrascale+ or other SoC design experience is desired. •HLS design knowledge and small team leadership is also desired.
•Experience with Configuration Management (CM) and Change Control concepts and tools (Git, DOORS, Subversion, Mantis, Jira, etc.)
• Experience working with Functional Requirements and defining Requirement Based Tests
• Zync Ultrascale+ or other SOC design experience
• Experience with UVM/OVM - constrained random testing
• Experience with hierarchical simulation and verification frameworks with emphasis on reusability and scalability
• HLS design knowledge • Small team leadership experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
