(Structural Steel Fabrication)
JOB DESCRIPTION
An AISC certified Steel Company in the area is looking for someone with Structural Steel Fabrication and/or Erection experience. An ideal candidate will be experienced in Project Management or Estimating of commercial Schools, Data Centers, Office, Industrial and Truss Heavy projects from $1M - $30M. Connections with General Contractors in the market will be a plus.
Project Manager Duties:
- Developing accurate estimates / budgets for projects through the bid / negotiating phase.
- Assist in contract review / negotiations.
- Understanding the scope / contract requirements and the intended deliverables.
- Establish sequencing / schedules / milestones – communicating such to company / client teams.
- Coordination of submittals / RFI’s / PO’s / Sub Contracts / Purchasing for project specific needs.
- Update weekly reports / logs to monitor schedules and job costs Review / Price changes in work – negotiate with client.
- Develop / maintain / improve client relationships.
Skills and Requirements:
- Position requires a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the steel industry.
- Prior experience with sales, cost-estimating and/or project management.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience wth FabSuite, Bluebeam and Gantt scheduling is major plus.
Compensation for this position is competitive with base salary from $75,000 to $95,000 with additional bonus potential.
