The Vice President Information Technology role is responsible for leading critical, global aspects of the information technology organization in support of operating group and global service strategic initiatives and programs. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions and leads an organization responsible and accountable for application delivery, information security, analytics, infrastructure and networking, enterprise architecture and other essential IT services and operational support functions. The role is responsible in planning, directing, and coordinating the deployment of IT resources to improve cost effectiveness, organizational agility, service quality and business capabilities. The role is integral in promoting a One Company IT strategy and a solutions-based mindset with emphasis on developing an adaptable, customer-service focused IT organization that supports the Company 's global operating footprint.
Define, communicate, and implement global IT strategic plans, tactical roadmaps, policies and technical governance standards that address operational, commercial and technological business needs.
Lead IT strategic planning efforts to facilitate the achievement of business goals by fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Remain current with industry and market trends, incorporate best practices and benchmarks to increase IT organizational performance. Be cognizant of disruptive technologies and their applicability to current and future business needs.
Develop, track, and control the IT organization 's annual operating and capital budgets. Develop a rolling, long-term operating plan for the global IT organization and direct all aspects of asset management for the IT organization.
Assess the organization 's current IT ecosystem to identify risks as well as opportunities to improve overall technology solution set efficiency and effectiveness. Develop, communicate and implement a holistic plan to mitigate/eliminate these risks and capture value while also continuing to support our current operational/commercial endeavors and strategic programs.
Ensure the continuous delivery of business-critical IT services and platforms through proactive oversight and the establishment (and monitoring) of service level agreements.
Designs and implements a business engagement model that includes an effective communications loop to obtain feedback from all levels of personnel and management in order to identify and shape activities and align IT 's offerings with requisite business needs.
Develop, communicate and implement a global information security and IT risk management program that proactively assesses and continuously monitors our IT platforms and data flow ecosystems to address cyber-security risks.
Mentors and builds the next generation of IT leaders across the organization
Works to increase the adoption of existing and future technological tool sets and platforms in a systemic way.
Elevates key internal stakeholder relationships.
Drive customer-service mindset, performance culture, accountability, and organizational agility.
Act as a catalyst, driving insights and partnering with Operating Group and Global Services Leaders.
Evaluates and directs strategic partnerships and vendor relationships with entities engaged in the execution of the IT organization 's specifically defined responsibilities and accountabilities.
Bachelor 's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university
Master 's degree (M.A. or M.S.) or equivalent; Preferably an MBA or equivalent business experience.
15+ years related experience and/or training demonstrated leadership experience with IT teams and platforms, as well as a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibilities in diverse business settings with at least 5-8 years in senior leadership positions required.
Frequent travel to operational and commercial sites will be required
International travel will be required
Prior experience in broad based IT transformations (operating models, system and integration rationalization, resource management and information management & analysis) required.
Considerable experience leading organizations through major change management initiatives required.
